I guess I just disagree. My personal opinion is we have definitely had lackluster performance and enthusiasm. Maybe disheartened for all kinds of reasons beyond their control. But I can remember the hawks looking beat. Northwestern at home in 2005 0r 6 or such. It is hard to watch because...
My hope is the change from Christianson to Stanzi repeats itself. Team was lackluster when jc was qb. Team was much more energized under Stanzi. Don't now why and seems odd if it has to do with one guy. But that's how I remember it. And stanzi came in and set some kind of never to be beaten...
Great play and I really like how he is playing and helping the team.
But if it was the most athletic play, you didn't watch Rice very closely. Holy Schnikes. Don't care one whit about Illinois or Rice, but the guy is athletic.
Also, people got pretty wired in the past about his demeanor on the bench. I think that is "better" (I didn't have as much problem with it as others). There is just that incident that went way over the top where he was really just protecting his players. I thought the media gut there undies...
Sadly, just can't shoot. Other areas of game magnified when you can't shoot. Bad turnovers (and there were bad ones) and a couple breakdowns on D. You can play 5 or 15, but if you can't shoot....
ISU fan says, on local TV, he is going to stay warm waiting for gates to open by snuggling with his 7 other male friends in a tent.
He used the word snuggle.
Good to be a Hawk fan.
I don't know about Marshall one way or the other. Just kind of going with the prior "norm" of moving to the highesst level, regarless, although as some say, that may be changing. I just wonder if another way to think about it is to keep a good staff together. The assisitants at WSU will...
Not that I think it will be MN, but do you think Greg Marshall might be looking to leverage the run in this tournament? He has been good at WSU for a while. Have no idea of his satisfaction or any of that, but maybe a move to a major conference helps him keep a good staff together longer...
I have not seen him play except a few clips. I wonder about his defense. Anyone have insight? I asked once and the response was sort of short tempered, like I had an opinion on his defense. I don't. Just wondering what those who see him a lot think.
Other than the little bit of TV highlights, haven't seen him play. But the very little on the TV highlights show someone a little more than disinterested on the defensive end. Anyone know if he can or will defend?
