Great news for Mel and the program! I can't think of a way for him to get better experience, plus (if he makes the team) that would look really good for potential recruits.

I say solid PG or bank it. Getting Gibson would not be terrible obviously, but I want more scholarships for 2012. The staff has proven to me that they know how to recruit, and they have had more time with the 2012 players.

Good read, I'm a little nervous about bringing him in, but I trust Fran's judgment and if he really has turned things around he could be a great role model for the younger players. Hopefully he really has changed his life and he can help give Iowa basketball a second chance too.

May will be able to contribute a ton off of the bench. Not only defense, I'm hoping that with added depth next year he can be a lot more effective in a faster offense. Hopefully he has been working on dribbling and shooting this offseason...that would help.
