Agree. Barta got it right the second time. As for last year..wish fans like Miller and Schwartz would quit denigrating our tourny bid....we made the tourny...period!! Tenn. and Dayton have proven that very good teams are in play-in games.

Agree, but have to hand it to him...they are winning with a young tiny team. He has quick shooting young guys...and scoring like crazy...hate that Hawks only play them at IU, late in the season...could be very ugly.

I guess I agree, but nobody should fool themselves that Moss is a savior....helps with diversity on our roster but not immediate help.

Better recruiting is needed. The 2015 class is 10th or 11th in the league and yet some fans are very excited for that class....probably because it does bring needed diversity to the roster...but still need better.

Moss looked like an unranked player...underwhelming. The soph. and frosh guards played better and got most of the minutes.

I would hope that if we miss the tourney this year, Fran would make a change on his staff to bolster recruiting, a la, SA getting Noodles. If we miss then next two years, definitely staff shakeup time to bolster recruiting. It is all about recruiting...it is what sustains a coach and fan base...

Close call, but yes. Matt was 2nd in voting for Big Ten Frosh of Year, and was a solid 4 year contributor...and all league his senior season...half of which came under slo-lickball

So far, our best recruits under Fran are Devyn(Lick recruit) and White. They were in his first two classes. Since then...not so much....Woody and Gabe are decent. I frosh who lite it up....LaChance of Vandy(they beat us for him) had 26pts on 13 shots in their win over PU this weekend...

Just because Paige was a pre-season 1st team all American, and preseason pick for ACC POY does not mean he could play for the mighty Hawks.

I never could figure out why some fans thought the only NBA player on our roster was the problem last year. Our problem was that we only had one Marble...we need three.

Agree with eyek, KF has put Iowa in a good position to continue to compete. We all get frustrated on some gamedays, but kf can fix it...go vertical ...new OC. If KF is gone, the top recruit Epenesa and dtackle Harris probably gone....we have the facilities to compete finally...KF can turn...

This is the truth....I love these college games, and especially Big Ten games, and many seem to be played simultaneously, which means you see or attend the Iowa game and never see some other great games. Hawks have been so up and down this year, never know what is coming. But, I never miss a...
