I think this team is good enough to be on the bubble and is playing better but the loss to the Univesity Omaha and the Minnesota officials debacle are the 2 games that I think I point to holding this team back.

2 more wins, including a road win against a decent team and eliminating a bad loss at home.

So at this point we gotta run these next 2 and probably win a couple in the BTT and I just think that's too much to ask of a young team but if these young guys can find a way to win at the Kohl center... I might be ready to change my vote to maybe.
 
I voted maybe, win the last 2 games and 2 maybe 3 in the tournament and I think they are in. They have the talent to do this, but it isn't a sure thing by any means.
 
Maybe is a cop out option. :)

Based on what I know right now - I've gotta say "no".

That doesn't mean I think it's impossible - but if you want to know "do i think they make it? yes or no?" Gotta say no. Win tomorrow night, then I like our odds a little better but still a long shot.
 
I hold out hope til there is none - why? Cause I'm an Iowa FAN. But yeah, it's not looking great. I just honestly made this poll after 5656 making such a huge deal about 74% of the posters on this board saying Iowa would make the tourney before the season started. A poll that you could vote as many times as you wanted on. And he treats that like a scientific poll to prove that he was right and we were all wrong. I actually assumed if I posted it again, people would still say "yes" because WHY THE F NOT right?
 
The question is if Iowa beats Wisky and makes a run to the BIG c-ship game but loses the c-ship game, would they do enough to get in or in a play-in game?

Absolutely. If we make it to the championship game and lose we would be 21-14, RPI of 56, and a SOS of 30. That's definitely enough to get in. I believe we win 2 in the BTT were in. That would put us at 20-14, RPI 58, and SOS of 34.

If we lose to Wisconsin and then make it to the BTCG we still would have an outside shot at 21-15, RPI 65, and a SOS 34.

So that 20 win mark still stands as the bar. I suppose this year it does with such a soft bubble. I thought it would be enough. It sounds like the low bar for RPI is around the 70 mark from listening to the radio.
