The Albert Lea one was not intentional except for going in to get my camera as my new bride jerked on my arm. It was an awesome sight. The damage incredible. Obviously felt bad for the victims, but wow...

France, Spain, and the UK are on equally bad paths as Italy. So whatever the reason is, it must be shared by all of those countries. My guess is those countries had the most early cases to allow the spread to take affect before social distancing is a major factor.

And part of the issue is timing and how much virus you inhale, etc. Maybe the Italians and Europeans were getting it a little before people started watching out so they were getting heavily exposed. We may know later. But this could be part of the reason some people get exposed but do not get real sick as their exposure was a lower amount. Lot's of hypotheses to experiment with, with rats and other species.

I totally agree with you that for a project this large it would be better to have one central agency in charge for the whole country. But States will not wait for the Fed and I hope the States start getting testing going very fast.

Sean Penn was interviewed last nite about rapid set up testing sites he is helping to set up around LA and S California. The workers learn the skills for taking samples with swabs and correct handling and sanitation etc. They are increasing the testing there.

Is that for sure a thing with viruses that the more you originally take it, the sicker you get? You sure would think it would matter but I've never heard about it before this whole deal.

You know, I'm the last person to talk about "white privilege". I generally think it's exaggerated and the obsession about it hurts minorities more than helps them. But would Tyson had done this if these workers were white, English speakers? Don't think so.

It was the Barneveld outbreak. June 6. In Albert Lea it was mostly over the lake but still destroyed 12 homes and damaged like 60. There are photos of the ambulance building which was demolished which was near my home. It missed downtown where a celebration was taking place. People were still there when it hit.

What's interesting to me is that Trump hosted a TV show on NBC (The Apprentice) for 14 years and I never heard anyone call him a racist and NBC never fired him. He throws his hat in to the political arena and all of a sudden he is "racist", mostly spewed by other politicians. This is why many Americans have a disdain for politics and why we end up with the poor candidates we do for many elected positions. The vast majority of us could not put up with all the abuse you get (from both sides) as a candidate. Who in their right mind would want to be President unless you had a huge ego?
