NY, NJ, Delaware, PA doing the same putting framework together for review on reopening.

yet here in MN Gov Walz presser was tad different in that mentioned need for more testing of up to 40,000 a week to know who has it and or who has had it. Guessing with more and more states discussing reopening and laying out plans to do so that his tone in future pressers is about to change. Minnesota has the lowest cases per Million in the US.

The video’s from 2005. So Begs the question what did all 3 Administrations do these last 15 years to prepare :cool::cool:! Guess Trump’s Administration got the short end of the straw and gets all the blame.

Why does that bother you so much?
Is this your mode of transportation?:p

Only 2nd half of video flash backs was 2005.

Obama implemented the pandemic response team during his administration in response to ebola/h1n1. There was no discussion of why didn’t Bush already have it setup.

It was disbanded during this administration.

Going into 2021, this government is still proposing to massive CDC budget cuts.

Vought came under intense questioning from Rep. Matt Cartwright (D-Pa.) at a hearing about President Trump’s 2021 budget request. It proposed cutting Health and Human Services funding by $9.5 billion, including a 15 percent cut of $1.2 billion to the CDC and a $35 million decrease to the Infectious Diseases Rapid Response Reserve Fund's annual contribution.

“The question I have is, are we prepared to fight pandemics if we cut from programs that are specifically designed to prepare for them, including the coronavirus?” Cartwright asked.

Yeah, social distance for a year and a half. What a dipshit thing to recommend. No one's going to do that. Esp given you have over a 99% chance of NOT dying from the beer virus. Let's destroy all semblance of human interaction for a less than 1% chance of the thing getting us.

Walz will have us shut down way too long. I'll be heading to Iowa to eat out, etc soon. Only a 20 min drive over the border.
