Shall we rant or shall we cheer ? (ISU)

I will cheer. I liked BF"s play calling, using plays and formations to set up another play, and balance. Nate Stanley, "gunslinger"?, kind of reminded me of Stanzi, not always pretty but a winner. Phil shower he is willing to get away from base defense and used nickel and dime coverage...

Let's be clear, as a fan, Peach and Fiesta do not want

People, we'll get what we earn, if we keep winning, we will earn a spot. If we don't win, we will have to settle for what comes our way, very simple. This has been a great ride and I personally have enjoyed it all. Go Hawks

Who Was Around When Haydon Started Coaching Iowa?

When Bump hired Hayden it was confusing, I remember watching Drake beat North Texas ST. and thinking here we go again. Before Hayden we could get free tickets from one of the pharmaceutical companies for any game. After Hayden no more. We were at that Indiana game sitting on the those old...

One game one announcer..who would it be..

Keith Jackson, if he was doing the game it was a big game and he really didn't need a color analyst.

    Top 5 hawks

Really tough to narrow it to 5. I would give #1 to Ed Banach, much harder for upper weights to compete as frosh and sophs. #2 Mark Ironside, the most determined wrestler I have ever seen. #3 Lincoln McIlravy, the most technical wrestler, gotta love that boot scoot #4 Joe Williams, if he only...

    Tell me I'm wrong here

Your stats may be skewed abit but we have noticed the same thing, usually a run off left tackle.

    Kinnick - who was there?

This game reminded me of the early 70's and PSU would come to town and totally hand us our butts. First time I can remember leaving early, long drive home.

What would you like to see from the Iowa offense tomorrow

Play a clean game, let MSU make the mistakes. I would love to see us control the line of scrimmage and not have to worry about a passing game.

    Weisman Vs. Coker

The biggest difference I see is Weisman runs into the hole where Coker and others lately would get half way in the hole and then try and change directions. The line has opened holes consistently for our backs, the backs just have to have faith and run to the hole and change directions once...

    I was just thinking....

I just want to see a well played game. The mistakes and misques we have had this year, well, amazing. Last week the penalties and mental lapse on the onside kick, blown pass coverage. UNI, about as clean as we have played. ISU, poor tackling and bad special teams. Northern Illinois...

    Coker

The holes seem to open a little wider when Rogers is in there. Coker doesn't have as much indecision getting in the hole and going. As stated earlier 500+ of those yards have come since Rogers returned.

Re: Iowa WILL win 4 of next 5 FB games, make NCAA BBall tourny, N win wrestling Nat t We will win a National Title in wrestling a lot sooner than we will in fb or bb, we are set up to be good in wrestling for the next 2 years.

Mark Alt, Jon's son, former QB recruit

Hockey is a tough sport and the men that play it are tough. Imagine getting hit with a puck traveling 90 mph. If you want to see a tough guy u tube Zdeno Chara fights.
