8-4 maybe 9-3. I wasn't expecting a loss to ISU, but honestly felt like we'd be 6-2 or maybe 7-1 at this point.

I know this article is a couple days old, but I wonder how much "communication" or lack thereof goes on between players and coaches? You hope channels are clear and wide open, but as someone who works with young people, I'd say the majority of them find someone else to complain to and can't...

It's all subjective at this point. We'll know more after week 1, even more after week 2 and so on. I love the hype, but so many Iowa teams have looked good on paper and have had good (not great) seasons.

it comes down to young players on the road....it's gonna be up and down. Hang in there hawk fans.

Home games will be huge for this team. With any young team, we're going to see major ups and downs and lots of inconsistency. I don't see this team playing particularly well on the road, which makes the home games a must win.
