They didn't need to use guns because they outnumbered the police. This cop was beaten. didn't need a gun. So you don't need to have a gun to call it what is was.
Did the high-jackers have guns on 9-11??? And how many people we're killed?
That's true. I notice a big difference when I switch back and forth.Depending who you follow, Twitter is and can be very right or left leaning. If I am looking at my following tab, I see just stuff I follow, which leans pretty left. I pretty much block any shit I see that's regarding the dumb motherfucker that is DJT...so, I see almost NOTHING from the Right stand point on Twitter. In fact, I get bombarded with Left leaning propaganda by in large.
That said, click on the "For You" tab and Oh boy. Then I have to see the world's biggest grifter selling me bibles, bears and bitcoin.
Nope again. They didn't need guns to get into the building and trespass. They needed guns to overthrow the government tho.
If they had taken Pence hostage which was their intent said many, many times publicly (I'm being generous because there were a lot of calls to hang him in public) and through force or coercion prevented him from certifying the election...which is his duty as VP...that would be quite literally overthrowing the government. How you can't understand that is a mystery to me.We know it was one of two things. It was either an attempt to overthrow the government or it was a protest that turned into a riot. I just can't comprehend how some people still think it was the former. Especially after how conditioned we were to just accept the fact that protests turn into riots all summer that year. Can someone break down a likely chain of possible events that could have taken that day from a bunch of people taking over the capitol to Trump remaining in power? I've never seen anyone even attempt to make that argument before.
This argument makes sense if it was a spur of the moment decision. It doesn't make sense if it was a planned in advance decision. They had months to plan this in advance and the best they could come up with is fist fight some cops, grab a flag pole if you see one, and maybe spray some pepper spray. But then the plan after you do get in is just to abort mission and go home? It's not a case of if it could have happened or not, it's what Trump and his rioters wanted to happen. Russia invaded Ukraine to take over more land, it doesn't mean it will happen, but it sure means they're trying. Same thing with January 6th.
It's 2025. Is there anything that can't be fine on Twitter? You might as well say read something that's not on the internet. If they had taken Pence hostage which was their intent said many, many times publicly (I'm being generous because there were a lot of calls to hang him in public) and through force or coercion prevented him from certifying the election...which is his duty as VP...that would be quite literally overthrowing the government. Your bro Trump even encouraged the mob to go after him. Yes, he could have by choice refused to certify the election, but he was very clear that it was not his intent to do that. So if it happened it would be through force of the mob. That's an overthrow of a government, my friend.
Google, "dissident coup."
A coup d'Etat is treason.
Maybe read something other than what you find on twitter for once in your adult life.
You really are trying to convince yourself that it wasn't more than just a riot... What are guns, zip ties and other weapons used for??? A peaceful protest? Trump told his followers to come to DC on that day and then proceeds to tell them "We fight like hell. And if you don't fight like hell, you're not going to have a country anymore" and that he's going to the capital with them to, but then just sits back and watches it all happen on TV. Then 187 minutes later, he tells them to leave and they do? Who was in charge of those terrorists that day? This argument makes sense if it was a spur of the moment decision. So they were checking social media during an invasion? Sounds like it had to be extremely intense in there. "Hey before we bust the door down and murder Pence, let's check twitter real quick".You really are trying to convince yourself that it wasn't more than just a riot... I've seen videos of the terrorists on their phones telling those around them that Trump told them to go home.So they were checking social media during an invasion? Also if Trump's plan was to overthrow the government, why tell them to go home right before they do it? Why suggest extra security in the days before? Why not tell them to bring guns and shoot everyone? There are plenty of reasons to argue that it was a pointless protest that turned into an inexcusable riot. But there isn't many common sense arguments you can make to call it an insurrection.
I believe he pardoned them so that Trump couldn't go after them for revenge. They didn't kiss the ring. Other than money, Trump is driven by revenge.
I don't think giving pardons for something you didn't do is a good thing, but didn't a bunch of people ask Trump for them before he left office??
Well for starters this site is about the best there is for finding bias ratings and shines a bright light on what to trust and not trust. It doesn’t filter what you see or don’t see with an algorithm, and aside from the articles it shows it gives people a general sense on what kind of news is reliable. You will see articles from the right, left, and in between, and the best part about it is looking at articles on the same topics that are highly biased, and then seeing how skewed both are. It’s eye opening and not spoon fed from an aggregator like Twitter. It's 2025. Is there anything that can't be fine on Twitter? You might as well say read something that's not on the internet.
LOL.Also if Trump's plan was to overthrow the government, why tell them to go home right before they do it?
