SIAP: Ulis Decision Friday Night, 7:20 p.m.

Supposedly Tyler's dad told a recruiting analyst that Tyler is still working on the decision and all three are in the hunt.

He doesn't want to hurt Calipari and Izzo's feelings. Why would he announce his decision reveal if he hasn't made a decision?

If his college choice follows his high school choice he will again choose "the road less traveled". As Fran has seen this player's future potential, the player is seeing Iowa's future potential.

"Am told by multiple sources that any school other than Kentucky for Tyler Ulis would be a shocker."

Spank shaves his head and prepares for the big event.......

If someone told me I had to bet $10,000 on which school I would have to put the money on Kentucky. Would love to be wrong. I was right on Woodbury and Gesell and on the offensive lineman switching to Alabama. I believe in the law of averages so it's time for getting this one wrong. Think Iowa, Iowa, Iowa, Iowa.

If he goes to Kentucky, he MIGHT start one year, next year...he'll get recruited over...and quite possibly he'll get recruited over THIS year. And he is a four year player and unlikely NBA career. At Iowa, he probably starts all four years, possibly makes the dance all four years and if healthy, could leave a long lasting legacy. He doesn't stand a chance to leave a mark at those programs.

Don't hold back. Tell us what you really think.

Hummm, will be interesting. Yeah, Cal will definitely try to bring in bigger fish, but if he's a competitor, he's not afraid of that. maybe he doesn't care if he's a big fish in a small pond. We'll see.

I still think Iowa has a chance. I think if we do land him, it will be the biggest get so far for Fran. Getting an out of state kid who Kentucky and MSU were targeting would be awesome, and likely help to bring other great kids in the fold too.

Not holding my breath on this one, but a little optimistic.

I have nothing to back this opinion up, but my guess is those percentages are based purely on school name. Iowa still isn't getting much respect from college basketball fans so I don't expect a random person's opinion to show us respect. I'll wait until Friday and not get worked up over John Doe's predictions.

My thoughts exactly. I'm sure there are a lot of chumps out there who don't have inside info but just assume he'll choose the biggest name on his list. Doesn't always work that way.

I'm sure Ullis thinks, and maybe rightly so, that he is as good as any pg out there. He's shown that he's not going to back down to anyone. At Kentucky he's going to get to play with elite talent every single year, he's going to play for a coach who has produced more first round NBA point guards in the last few years than most schools have throughout the history of their program. If his main goal is making the NBA, there is not a better school out there for him. I can't blame him for choosing to go there.
