Seth Davis thinks Iowa has to win the BTT to get in

I've always hated Seth Davis since he "picked" Iowa to lose to NW St. He was so cocky afterwards on CBS saying he "knew" Iowa was going to lose. Hated him ever since.

Iowa might win the whole damn thing..............that's why....:)

LOL that's too darn funny. I love the Hawks but if they do make the dance with the seed they are likely to get they would be luck to win in the first round and almost no shot of getting past the second round. Next year is the year for the program---make or break in my opinion. I would love to see them get in though no matter what they actually do in the tournament.

If Iowa can beat MSU on a neutral court, they can beat most teams in the NCAA tournament. Not saying they are going to the sweet 16, I am just saying I think the BTT after Northwestern is a tougher road than the NCAA.

the next time Seth Davis says something intelligent will be the first time Seth Davis says something intelligent

If Iowa makes the finals and doesn't get in, it would have to be because the NCAA is trying to send a message about weak scheduling to inflate wins. Something that I wouldn't be completely against, objectively. But at that point Iowa would likely have 6 quality wins, including 2 over top 15 RPI teams on a neutral court. I'm not so sure any bubble resume could compare to that.

Disagree. The "message" would be that, in spite of the B1G being the best conference, and Iowa being 2-1 against Illinois and Minnesota, splitting with Wisconsin and making the finals of the BTT, The Selection Committee is biased, if not incompetent.

And TRUE justice would be making the final of the BTT, having Seth Davis openly lobby against our inclusion on national TV, drawing New Mexico in the first round, kicking their collective a&&, and then having Seth Davis lobby for us to pay Alford's way to Final Four weekend to "make things right".

No need to see a public butt-smooch from SD to SA. In fact, NO human being, save the two of them, should have to witness that.

I dont think there is a team outside the top 15 that has more than 5 rpi top 50 wins

That's why I don't get some people's argument about our resume. Our bottom 5 is worse then everyone else's. But our good wins and bad losses are better then a lot of teams that are considered locks to get in.

RPI and none our top 50 wins are of the sexy variety.

Really Seth Davis like many other people really haven't followed Iowa or have much of a clue... which is not a good thing :/

Baylor over Kansas, Kentucky over Florida, Tennessee over Florida, Virginia over Duke
