It was a response to him when he said FGC was a tournament team, he brought up the RPI later. The point was just because a team is a tournament team does not make beating or losing to them any more impressive. That would be like us bragging about beating WKU just because they are a tournament team.

They got an auto bid, who cares if they have crappy losses. In Miami's case, it does not hurt them. I'm not sure what you think I am trying to argue, but all I'm said was that Miami losing to FGC is not viewed as a bad loss.

It certainly was talked about as "bad" during their last telecast I saw.

Florida Gulf Coast is not akin to UNI or Drake, historically speaking. More along the line of Maryland-Eastern Shore.
