I'm starting to believe I'll have more optimism this fall as it relates to Iowa Hawkeye football. More tight end usage, more crossing patterns and a more vertical passing game. Count me in for that.

WOW, I can't believe he would leave the pros in Miami frickin Florida and that awsome weather to come back to Iowa in this role and have to recruit again. You can criticize all you want. I think its a great move for Iowa. Put your hate aside for KF and realize that if Brian fails as OC, they are both leaving. And we start over.If Brian is successful ,he'll be the next HC.

His last 2 seasons - Stanzi threw for 25 TD's and JVB threw for 25 TD's... would anyone take that kind of production right about meow?

Stanzi also couldn't keep his eyes downfield during a blitz. I suppose that's one thing Iowa's QBs and KOK will both have to work on. Keeping the play alive during a blitz.

Love it. Basically 2 OCs (for the price of one). Knows the ropes around here too. Someone BF can 'lean on' a bit. Actually thought he did a fine job of keeping defenses off balance. With GD, EVERYONE crowded the line b/c it was either a run, or a 2-yd pass. Our offense was basically suffocated every play.
