**OFFICIAL CUBS REGULAR SEASON THREAD**

With all the attention Soler & Almora have gotten lately there is another prospect in the lower levels that we need to keep an eye on, Jeimer Candelerio.

This kid would have been a 1st round pick in the amateur draft a couple of weeks ago had he not moved to the Dominican Republic from New York. He is only 18 years old, is a switch hitter, he has skipped rookie level and is crushing the ball for Boise. He has a lot of work to do though defensively if he wants to remain at 3rd base.

Rizzo just got pulled from the I-Cubs game. He's on his way to Chicago.

WHO shows all of the WCIU games on 13-3
Interesting. I live near the quad cities with directv. WCIU I always thought was a local station in Chicago, similar to what WHO is in Des Moines.
Didn't think anyone outside the city got that station.

They only get like 8-10 games a year, but it's still lame.

call up KWQC and see if they'll pick up the WCIU games on one of their overrun channels ... won't help you tomorrow, but plant a seed ...

it is a local chicago station, but there was enough demand that WHO picked up some of the broadcasts, just as they picked up some ACC hoops last year.

Travis Wood pitched one heck of a game and the Mets provided the Cubs with enough offense to win the game. I have seen little league teams field better than the Mets did tonight.

That was one brutal inning by the Mets with the 3 errors. Wow.
