**OFFICIAL CUBS REGULAR SEASON THREAD**

Cubs win! Tonight's win against the White Sox marks the first series the Cubs have won on the road since winning their series in New York last season in September. The best news, Marmol comes in and protects a one run lead in the 9th for the save.

YOU CAN PUT AN "L" UP ON THE BOOOOARD...YESSSSSS!

How sweet would it be if the Cubs, who started the Sox hot streak and subsequent climb to the top of their division by letting them get the sweep at Wrigley, turned the tables and started a Sox collapse by pimp slapping them with a sweep at U.S. Cell Block???:D

It's over a month away but the trade rumors are heating up.

Soriano, Dempster, Garza, Soto, Barney, LaHair all being mentioned to be asked about by multiple teams.

I don't think all of them get traded but I could see a bunch of them leaving. I honestly think osmeone will want soriano with his DH power of late.

Sad that this is one of the, if not the, most interesting part of the cubs season right now, but the prospects the cubs get in return and a major part of this club's future. Intereste dto see what Theo can do.

I see that the Cubs brought back Scott Maine...And I see that he hasn't improved any in his absence. This is really the best they can do? I really wonder what the thought process is when they continue to recycle players like Maine and Koyie Hill.

They didn't have a choice with Hill...all of their catchers were down.

Wow. Aren't you a Cubs fan? You better hope they are.
Cubs fans always have hope. Alas, we have seen too many Gary Scotts, Bobby Hills, and Felix Pies to get too giddy over youngsters! :)
