Losing to Western Michigan

i'm not one to play the "if" game. if it happens, i will assess my feelings then. i'm not someone that gets worked up over something that hasn't happened yet. i know, call me crazy

Freed, I am not going to waste my time going through your 1,750 posts but quite a few do discuss how much money he makes and how Iowa can do better for that amount.

In turn, that is complaining about how much he makes for the results he gets.
 
Freed has a right to his opinion. I think he knows a lot about football too. Freed who do you think we could get thats better than KF ? I think one place you and I disagree is on how tough the Iowa job is. One place we agree is this year could very well decide KF legacy at Iowa

That is not the same as complaining about how much KF makes. I don't care how much KF makes but I do wonder who else we could get for a similar amount.

Was that the movie where the two guys then had sex before the race and neither won, so the moral was that God was punishing them? I can't remember if it was "Chariot's on Fire" or the porn film "Missle on Fire"...I always get them confused.

Short answer, I don't know. Longer answer: I am in agreement that Iowa could get somebody worse than kf. No question that could happen, but there are always a lot of coordinators and hc's who are very willing to take on the task. There are many examples of coaches not working out. Chizek at Isu comes to mind. There are other good examples of coaches doing well. I'm not one who lives by with the motto: "we could get somebody worse".

No question plenty of people would want the job. But Im not one to throw a tissy and demand change without a plan. A good plan.

Iowa isn't losing Saturday and it would be really nice to see a BLOWOUT and the backups to see the field for a change. However the odds are pretty good this is a game for far longer than it should be and we don't see the backups.

Iowa just played in their SUPER Bowl so losing to Western Michigan is a possibility.
