They are currently 10-6 in conference with two games left (they will be favored in both). I for one would argue last years team overachieved. As for your Hawks...yes I would have gladly made that bet with you to start the year. I didn't think they would be better and I still don't think they are. My honest opinion is the BIG is down. Other than Wisky I truly would be surprised to see another BIG team in the elite 8. If Wells gets hot he could get Maryland there but that is it. I saw Marble come into Hilton last year and push ISU to the wire. He was a difference maker. There is just no one on Iowa's roster that would worry me in an NCAA game this year. Simply put I would rather face this years Iowa team than last seasons with Marble. Just my opinion but statistically a better year for Iowa

Then be a stand up guy and take the bet on Iowa not being as good, as you claim/claimed. That is the only reason I am taking the ISU bet. As you said that team is underachieving, and has final 4 potential. I only took the bet, because I am a stand up guy.....and I will only take the bet if you are a stand up guy in return. The bet is both teams go further than last year for $50 a piece. If Iowa gets past the play in game, $50 to me. If ISU makes it past the sweet 16, then $50 to you if either team fails then obviously payment goes the other way. I'm already letting you off the hook on ISU overall record being better (not gonna happen), of ISU doing better in the Big12 tourney (not gonna happen), I'm not letting you off the hook of all 3, so you have to accept the Iowa portion of the bet or no bet at all. I can't let you be a chicken sh!t on every count, stand behind your sh!t talking for just one one time.

Haha yes let me be a stand up guy by handing over $50 to you. That makes a ton of sense. Like I said, had you presented this bet to me when it wasn't a fogone conclusion I would have gladly accepted. So you are backing away from the bet or what? Worried were heading to the elite 8?

I notice you change and shift ever bet people try to make with you. Mike stepped up and you won't accept his bet. I step up and just say to put your money where your sh!t talking was, and you won't. ISU isn't better this year, Iowa is better this year. That is what I am betting on.

If you bet in kind (Iowa goes further in the NCAA, heck they could still miss the tourney with 3 straight losses) I will bet the same about ISU going further this year that was my bet. I'm not backing out of anything, as you never accepted my bet. Either accept it, or be a chicken sh!t, I don't care, it isn't like you are gonna pay up anyway.

Yet his analysis was spot on. Are you watching the ISU game against Oklahoma? It is exactly what they've done in order to come back in this game. They aren't running plays. They are spreading everyone out and doing isolation plays. It's as simple as that. Not sure what analysis you'd prefer.

ISU playing impressive in the 2nd. Oklahoma with a Hawkeye type drought, and some pretty stupid plays.

Morris has been very good. Ning is out of his mind.

Hilton Magic indeed huh? How smart are you?? You know the 2nd half reminded me of the ISU @ Iowa game. ISU goes up 20 early in 2nd half and instead of standing up like men in your own house vs. Your in state rival Fran craps his pants and White and Gessell lay down like the little girls they are and let Long tbrow up 3 signs all game and let Niang blow kisses like it was a damn circus. Difference between the two programs.

How many more Cyclones had to foul out before BDJJmia would have seen the floor at the end of the game?
