So before this skid he had nothing to do with Iowa winning and Iowa playing well as a team?
When you begin to blame one player for losses like folks did with Oglesby on this board last year, you grasp for straws.
The problem with this team begins and ends on the defensive end of the floor.
The other problem is this team got a bit of a big chest with the ranking. People have punched them in the mouth and they have fallen apart. I would agree with you on Marble if other players have been playing well during this skid, but it simply hasn't been the case. So many players have just become invisible, not every game, but in some games.
Hell, Marble has even disappeared in halves and shown up in others, it isn't a Marble problem. If Marble isn't a leader, that is okay, who is going to step up and be that guy? How about the PG, oh wait, he likes to recklessly dribble and get his shot blocked and not look for a big guy to dump it too. How about White, oh wait, he plays when he wants too as well and just flat out disappears. How about Basabe, oh wait, he has never been vocal and never will be. How about McCabe, oh wait, he is too busy fouling.
Who has even tried to step up and either take control of a game or be a leader, who? If that is one guy's fault, why didn't it affect them earlier in the season?
