I don't care in the least about Tebow's religious beliefs and whether he displays them in public. At the very least he seems genuine in them and none of that has seemed to change over the years.
I did get a little tired of all the Tebow coverage during his college days. But that was because of ESPN and other media shoving it down the collective throats of the viewers. Plus, I still have the idealistic sense that college sports should be team-oriented with a team focus and I don't like any one player to be held up above the other players on a team...at least to that level. That being said, I understand that he wasn't asking for the attention, it was given to him by others.
Now that he's pro, I have to say that he's been kind of fun to watch. I don't think he probably has a long future at QB but so far so good. At the very least, you have to love that he truly loves the game of football and just wants to play. In the game last night, all of his teammates seemed to be supportive of him and enjoy playing with him. While he may be a polarizing figure to some in the public, his teammates seem to be behind him and that says a lot.
