Sidestepping like Revis vs Tebow.
Of course not, I just don't have a problem with an athlete thanking God for the athletic gifts he/she received and what they allowed him/her to accomplish.
If you think Tebow is praying "thank you God for letting me win" you are sorely mistaken.
I do not have a problem with players praying to God thanking them for their abilities, the problem I have is them making a spectacle of themselves doing it in public.

To what length will you go to give this guy a pass, Duff?? I mean, I get that you're on the christian god-squad too, but I always thought you were a bit more realistic and reasonable than a lot of the ultra-goddy posters around here. Do you not see how tebow is exploiting his "faith" for personal gain, and how he is held to a different (lower) standard in his job because of it?? And how horribly biased it all is, because he's a white christian male and not some other religion, race, and gender?
And with that. Tim Tebow's fate as a below average QB in the NFL is sealed.
I don't like zealots of any stripe. Why do you like christian zealots but no others? Biased much?

Personal gain? How so? Do you think his expressions of faith are helping him gain endorsements? To what length will you go to give this guy a pass, Duff?? And how is he being held to a lower standard? He has to be one of the most criticized QB's of all time. Rightly so. His passing skills and pocket presence are horrible.
If he is lucky he will have a below average season, the guy can't throw a good pass to save his life......and the DLine and LB in this league love to **** pound running QB's and that is exactly what they will do to tebow.
I think this is fair.I do not have a problem with players praying to God thanking them for their abilities, the problem I have is them making a spectacle of themselves doing it in public.

What justified his high draft position? Why is he starting over a more talented, more experienced pro QB?
tebow is being held to a different/lower standard than other QBs in teh NFL
any other guy with his (lack of) talent would have been converted or cut
Yeah because if the Broncos turn out to suck they are going to keep trotting him out there. You know cuz fans and owners don't care about winning. Are you this blinded by your hatred?
Nothing. I believe the people responsible for picking him have been fired? What justified his high draft position?
Maybe because he is being paid a boatload of money as a 1st round draft choice. This happens quite often in the NFL. See Jamarcus Russell for example. The Broncos have invested a lot of money in Tebow and they want to see what they've got.Why is he starting over a more talented, more experienced pro QB?
