Does this team miss Matt Gatens???

Do you miss Matt Gatens

by saying the only reason Marble did as well as he did in the Oregon game was because Oregon concentrated solely on Gaten and even now saying Iowa NEEDS Gatens to make this a better team.
with Gatens Iowa was 8-5 thru 13 games with Losses to UNI and ISU
without him Iowa is 11-2 with wins over UNI and ISU
not to mention the improvement in all catagories
71.9 ppg to 76.9 ppg this season for a 5 point increase
being a top 20 team 19th in Rebounds, 18th in assists and 106th in shooting at 45.1 %
this team is doing just fine without him,
did Iowa fall apart when BJ, Roy and Horton left NO, Iowa had 1 19 win season and 5 straight 20 win seasons for 6 straight winning seasons in a row without them, players like Horner, Haluska, Oliver, One and done Davis all came along, before we judge Gesell on his faults or what he supposedly can't do lets give him the next three years to see what he can do
even Marble accomplishments to date he can't get the credit he deserves
5.7 ppg as a Fr
11.5 ppg as a SO dbling his ppg production
15.7 ppg to date thats a 4.2 ppg increase for 36% to date increase, and people still doubt his ability to lead this team and yet Gatens did at 12.6 ppg as a JR
I forgot Marble has to score 25 ppg to be considered a adquate replacement for Gatens

No, that's not why a lot of people want you banned. I'd tell you why, but it would ring upon deaf ears. You'd take whatever reason I give and come back with:

Long time lurker who never bothered to post... Herby, for the last time, please stop posting team stats, etc. because they have to do with the success of this year's freshmen and the improvement of other players. They have absolutely nothing to do with what you're rambling about (Marble being a huge improvement over Gatens).
