Well, there are so many IC cops that you have to consider that they have very little to do during the summer so they enjoy targeting football players. Also, with the rest of the black students leaving during the summer it is likely that their race targets are football players.
 
If he's really this stupid...well, I'm guessing he wouldn't have picked up the playbook anyway. I can't wait for the conspiracy theorists to come out with the stories about how the IC police were staking out his house and rigged his bike to accelerate when he first got on. It's probably good they got him now so he doesn't hurt anyone in the future...including himself.

It could have been worse...he could have been drinking and had DJK on the back of his bike. Wait a minute...DJK has an alias maybe...Jake?

Trust me, I'm no fan of the IC police...I was arrested, never convicted and falsely accused, when I was a student by an overzealous police officer who thought I had something to do with a fight downtown. Never mind that I was just walking home from the library and hadn't had a drink, and all the actual guys involved were ****faced. I'm in a cell with these idiots and I'm there with my bookbag...and the cop who arrested me is saying I incited the scene. Brilliant detective work.

Also, he was going 60 through U Heights? Doesn't everyone who goes to school at Iowa know that if you drive faster than walking pace through U Heights, you're getting an escort to the curb?
