Because they are evaluating him, I expect Connor to play in both exhibitions.
You really think McCaffery needs to evaluate his own son? He's been watching him play since the day he could first pick up a ball.

I saw Williams grab a rebound go coast to coast and dunk on a guy last yr. I haven't seen Dailey do anything quite like that yet. Maybe he is pretty athletic and hasn't gotten a chance to showcase it more yet. Till I see Dailey do something somewhat similar I'll have to maintain my 2 cents on CW being more athletic for now. He's for sure a better shooter with better touch I'll give him thatWilliams is not more athletic than Dailey in my opinion
In regards to playing against other D1 talent I bet he does.. Till your out there under the bright lights it's not a forgone conclusion he'll be a rock star out there. I bet Fran has a dang good idea and it'll be way closer to being right than any of our guesses due to just what you said but again the kid still has to go do it against guys 2,3 and 4 yrs older then him.You really think McCaffery needs to evaluate his own son? I watch a lot of Iowa basketball, most games twice and I don’t recall that ever happening. He had a nice steal and dunk vs. Indiana, he sort of dunked on a guy at Rutgers. Either way the point remains he was pretty athletic.I saw Williams grab a rebound go coast to coast and dunk on a guy last yr. I haven't seen Dailey do anything quite like that yet. If they are relying on Ellingson to be a backup PG then we are in trouble. He needs to come off screens and shoot. Williams is going to prove to be a bigger loss than it seems right now. A 6'6 guard that can defend and guard the other team's top guard is rare. I would say Connor is probably in line for those minutes. If it is Ellingson....uh oh.

I think you’ll be pleasantly surprised with Dailey’s athleticism if he gets some minutes this year.
absolutely does... against better competition and to also see where he fits in with the rest of the team. He's also not the only coach. You really think McCaffery needs to evaluate his own son? He's been watching him play since the day he could first pick up a ball.

I don't think its possible for any coach to be fair with their own children involved. They might lean one way or the other. Ferentz is a pretty good example. Look how he set his own kids up as players in the program, and then fired a lot of assistant coaches so he could bring his own kid in as the offensive line coach. He hired a guy that was about to retire as the offensive coordinator so he could elevate his kid into that position. If I remember correctly Iowa was a losing program for a couple of years when he first brought his kid in. Its nice he was able to make his son a multi millionaire at the expense of the Iowa football fans. You don't think a father would be skewed toward's his own son?
Really?
Why do you continue to feed him if he is a troll?
How is stating an observation that has to do with race considered racist? There is nothing in his sentence that could be considered derogatory. If you make an inference into one, you're the racist.Probably the exact same number as the numbers of racist posters...
