Moving the goal post all over the place I can see. It is pretty sad that I have to do this, but let me give you a history lesson.
ISU 70's (1971-1980) 57-56 (.504 winning %) They were a better program than Iowa, it is sad that you don't even know this.
ISU 80's (1981-1990) 44-61 (.422 winning%) Welp, looks like Iowa overtook ISU in the 80's
ISU 90's (1991-2000) 33-76 (.306 winning%) Simply abysmal. Only Duke has a lower Win % from a P5 conference in the 90's
ISU 00's (2001-2010) 51-72 (.414 winning %) Better, than the 90's, but not as good as the 80's
ISU's last 10 years: 51-75 (.404 winning %)
Lets compare to what Rhoads has done up to now 28-38 .424 winning %.
So now that you actually understand the history of ISU football, please explain how is the gap closing from the 70's and 80's? It is much, much worse than the 70's and stagnant with the 80's.
If you want to come on here and make absurd statements, at least understand your own schools history before doing so. The only thing ISU has done better over the last 15-16 years is beat Iowa. It is your #SuperBowl, and that is why you actually do think the gap is closing. Yet when you look at actual success of the program, and not just the #SuperBowl game, ISU is exactly owhat they have been for the last 30+ years......a very bad program
