Big Ten Hoops Schedule

We have the intelligence to understand that the BETTER PLAYER gets to the NBA. Nobody asked who had the most productive year, the question was who was the better player. I mean according to feeble minds like you, Ejim >>>> Embid, Vonleh, and Kane >>>>>LaVine, Ennis, Marble.

An intelligent person understands the difference, and understands who the better player is. Sadly Clowns aren't know as being a very intelligent fan base, and worse yet for you, is that you are possibly the dumbest of the dumb fan base.

Winners go out and win. Period. Better players, better coach = better team. Proof was provided on the court this year.

An intelligent person sees Kane only succeed because he was a 25 year old playing against kids 4-7 years younger than him. NBA scouts realize his game of bullying his way to the basket won't translate at all to the league, but Clone fans think it's some conspiracy that he was passed over by every team in the draft and no one bothered to bring him into a camp which is why he's going to Europe. Oh, and where is that huge China offer he was supposed to get? I'm shocked that didn't come to fruition.

LOL, Clown fans are funny on how personal they take this stuff. Big deal if your teams player ain't good enough for the NBA, most aren't. Just don't make fun of the players getting paid in the league when the ones you are crowing about can't sniff the league.

You seriuosly think that Ejim >>>> Embid, Vonleh, and Kane >>>>>LaVine, Ennis, Marble......BAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA God, you are dumb.

Why in the world are you grouping a bunch of lottery picks (Embiid, Vonleh LaVine & Ennis) in a group with the fourth to last pick in the draft in Marble? That's ridiculous. Apples and oranges not even the same ballpark. Does Ejim have more upside potential as them? Not in a million years! Was he a better collegiate player this past year? ABSOLUTELY! And just for your information, Ejim was 100% a better college player than several forwards taken in the 2nd round of this years draft. Two of them were in the same conferene (Markel Brown and Cory Jefferson).

Listen, I know you're not the sharpest tool in the box, and I know Iowa hasn't had a conference player of the year since 1968, but when a player wins the conference POY...it's because he was the best player in the conference THAT year! You think you can grasp that idea? They don't just hand those things out like candy bud.

Maybe they will have a great year, and one of the hawkeyes will win it this year. Its pretty obvious that the cards are stacked greatly against Iowa having the best player in the conference. With Fran in charge, hopefully, Iowa will be having more all-conference players, and maybe even the player of the year. If they win the conference this year, one of the players should be in consideration for the award.

God you are an idiot. All you do is move the goalpost. The question was who is the better player. Not who was the better collegiate player, or who was the more productive player. Just so you know the NBA >>>>>>>> European player.

So you really think Ejim is a better player than Wiggins?

Do you have poo for brains?

Really? Is that why you were over here running smack all last off season? Talking smack about Iowa's poor 2012, saying that there wasn't a big gap between ISU and Iowa in football. BHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA, I know Clown fans don't count wins and losses as a measurement of success, but even if you don't count wins and losses, there is a HUGE gap in the programs. Then you ran smack about how Coe was gonna be some good player, as good as Carl Davis.....HAHAHA. I tried to tell you the coaches said he was lazy.

Just one year later, now all of a sudden ISU football fans think they are bad and embrace it? At lease you have a super tough schedule again, you got that going for ya (as you said, when a team sucks, the schedule is always tough). Well you do have $99 season tickets, and are actually planning on upgrading that high school stadium to be more like a D2 stadium. So lots of "momentum" in Clown town.

Hey Deanvogs...care to get this discussion going again? You opened your fat mouth before the basketball season and yet again before the football season. Yes, what a monster GAP between the two programs! It is HUGE! We strolled into your house pretty much spotted you a TD and still outplayed your "powerhouse" Hawks. Our makeshift d-line that couldn't break the Iowa 2-deeps seemed to do okay against that stellar o-line of Iowa's. You guys just ran it down their throats!

You see what is sad is ISU is actually building a top tier consistent top 20 basketball program and we know it. Iowa fans knowing their basketball team hasn't achieved anything in over decade has to bang their chests about their mediocre at best football team that went into Lincoln and beat the third string injury riddled Huskers. Monster GAP! Classic entertainment thank you for this!

Not scared of anything, I just don't follow your marching orders. If you want to break them down, feel free. Me, I'm focused on football......ohhhhhh, now I understand why you are focused on basketball, it is actually the beginning of basketball season for ISU fans at about 3:00 on Saturday.

I think I like this one even better. I probably wouldn't show my face either if I was you. Pretty dang embarrassing! At least you have that exciting brand of football to look forward to after the basketball season went south.

How did I know that you'd show back up today? You came around spouting a TON OF SH!T last offseason, and disappeared like a rat in the light during the season. I'm not a rat like you, so sure I'll discuss this. There is a big gap between the programs, and winning the #SuperBowl doesn't really change much. Iowa is 2-1 and will still be going to a bowl game this year. ISU is 1-2 and I don't really see a Bowl game in their future. If Iowa beats ISU in BB this year, you gonna say Iowa has a better program???? Of course not.

Enjoy the win, as they will be scarce for ISU after yesterday. ISU is now 10-21 since upsetting Okie St. in 2011. Maybe winning the #SuperBowl yesterday will start a winning streak for ISU.....I doubt it, but we will see. Either way, I'm here to discuss. I'm guessing you will hang around for 2 weeks (bye week) and then scurry away in the light again when ISU starts it's next losing streak.

Even an ISU fan knows it is embarrassing to lose to ISU, now that is saying something.

Maybe you have never prepared an entire offseason or for a lot of these players your entire college career for a single football season. If you can't get up for 12 games not to mention against your instate rival there is something seriously wrong with you. The Super Bowl excuse is beyond ridiculous get over yourself. The better team won yesterday. Period! We saw who the better team was. Iowa may indeed hit a bowl game this year I can actually assure you they will the BIG is absolutely horrible! Just admit you're an ignorant moron. I said the gap has closed since the 70's - 80's when Iowa won 15 in a row and you freaked out. Sorry pal Iowa is nothing but a mediocre football program and yes the gap has closed drastically. Good luck this basketball season we will see...

So you are proud of that? Proud to have a 4-8 program......congratulations, you win. With that mindset it will keep a guy like Rhoads around forever; meaning they will never surpass Iowa in anything meaningful.......Congrats on that Super Bowl victory.

You're proud that you gave Ferentz a lifetime contract? He has a lifetime losing record to ISU and is 1-3 against ISU the past four years and the game is in Ames in their revamped stadium next year. You're proud of that? And yet the gap between the two programs is just enormous according to Deanvogs. Our players wouldn't even scratch the Iowa 2-deep. Riiiight.

You will end up being 3-9 this year.....never get pass the 7 win mark under Rhoads, but as long as you are beating Iowa that is only thing that matters. The program is truly taking that next step. I see why you are soooo excited about the program.

Moving the goal post all over the place I can see. It is pretty sad that I have to do this, but let me give you a history lesson.

ISU 70's (1971-1980) 57-56 (.504 winning %) They were a better program than Iowa, it is sad that you don't even know this.
ISU 80's (1981-1990) 44-61 (.422 winning%) Welp, looks like Iowa overtook ISU in the 80's
ISU 90's (1991-2000) 33-76 (.306 winning%) Simply abysmal. Only Duke has a lower Win % from a P5 conference in the 90's
ISU 00's (2001-2010) 51-72 (.414 winning %) Better, than the 90's, but not as good as the 80's
ISU's last 10 years: 51-75 (.404 winning %)
Lets compare to what Rhoads has done up to now 28-38 .424 winning %.

So now that you actually understand the history of ISU football, please explain how is the gap closing from the 70's and 80's? It is much, much worse than the 70's and stagnant with the 80's.

If you want to come on here and make absurd statements, at least understand your own schools history before doing so. The only thing ISU has done better over the last 15-16 years is beat Iowa. It is your #SuperBowl, and that is why you actually do think the gap is closing. Yet when you look at actual success of the program, and not just the #SuperBowl game, ISU is exactly what they have been for the last 30+ years......a very bad program

That is pretty much it in a nutshell........You can go ahead and drop the mic now.

Hahahaha thank you for dedicating your Sunday morning to that I appreciate the stats. Well done you're a statistical guru. Ferentz has a losing record to ISU and lost 3 of the last 4 to ISU and Iowa is simply a powerhouse and ISU is a D-II school. Beyond hilarious!

It's called the internet. I can look at ISU's record over any time period in about 1.3 seconds. Maybe if you knew anything about ISU besides it's #SuperBowl record I could have saved myself the 5 min. it took me to post that. Don't worry though, I don't mind educating ignorant Cyclone fans.

Don't have anything to say about your idiotic claim that ISU is "closing" the gap since the 70's and 80's? Or do you think ISU's #SuperBowl is the only thing that defines success for ISU's program.
