It is possible there is a lot of stuff that goes on behind the scenes. If he says there was an offer than there was an offer at some point. He has nothing to gain by making anything up.

Recruits have lot to gain by over-stating offers. It raises their profile, perhaps they might make it onto a Top 150 list, or get a camp invite. Given the amount of excitement Fleming has about Iowa, I think it is fair to say he does not have commitable offers from some of those bigger schools. Rivals profiles aren't always accurate because they are not updated. I haven't seen Fleming indicate recently he has those offers.

well said, the kid could be a great player and tremendous get, I have no idea and haven't seen him play, but he is CLEARLY overstating the choices of his "decision."
 
whatever the status of his osu contact, hoop scoop has him at 88, 247 has him at 180.

huge range there -- his final ranking will depend on how his midrange game develops and the quality of his summer exposure. like hutton, he could well be in the rivals top 150 in the fall, or in the final list. playing for oak hill, if he has a good season his value will skyrocket (which will be nice, since he will have signed with iowa at that point).
 
From what I've seen in videos, the kid is a shooter and he's not afraid to pull the trigger...that's what I like...He seems under control and doesn't force anything that he's not comfortable in doing....Looks like a nice kid and would be a great addition to the Class of 2015...I've even seen in 247 that he was offered by Billy Donovan...who the hell wouldn't want to play for him year in and year out? Hopefully he announces Iowa in 90 minutes....

I read that he was scheduled to visit Ohio State next week. I don't know if it was cancelled because of his Iowa desire or Ohio State getting an off guard commitment. Fleming is an A student so I imagine he knows who have actually offered him or not. Florida just recently got a commitment from an off guard too. It could be he had an offer or he wanted to go somewhere he thinks they might need him more and a place he feels comfortable with enjoying his college experience. If he is as smart as they say he is, he probably is thinking about basketball, his education, and how much he will enjoy himself. I'm glad you can assure us that he never had an Ohio State offer, but who are you?

Someone who actually has the first clue about what I'm talking about. After reading your last few ridiculous posts it is obvious you don't. The fact you're so incredibly naïve that you think recruits are always honest about offers with no reason not to be says it all.

Give it a rest already. Whether he had OSU and Florida offers doesn't matter, there was at least interest from them. He's committed to Iowa and seems to be a good recruit. If you have a problem with what offer he and his AAU coach are reporting and recruiting sites then take it up with them. We can only take them at their word at least it's straight from the source unlike you who has a 'connection'.

Yes, you clearly need a "connection" to know if Ohio State offered him. It's not like they are the most covered school in the entire country with literally 8 different recruiting sites. Considering the fact you had to bump this after Fleming has committed I am guessing you attend a special school along with Tierney that requires you to wear a helmet at all times.
