With Cully leaving, and alot of talk about Washpun, I was curious if he was a similar type player as Mike Henderson from Wat East was. I have not seen him play, just trying to make comparisons based on what I read.

Fran is such a positive 180 from last year. If Lick were here and Cully injured, think of the minutes Lil Lick would have gotten and he isn' hardly playing for a D3 school in Indy. So excited to be watching basketball again and see a coaching staff to what normal D1 coaching staffs do.

Bowen has been his personal trainer or Bowen has been working him out now for some time. If hired, it wouldn't be just for Wilkes as I think Bowen showed during his playing days, he knows how to work. He is low mainteance, Iowa guy, NBA resume, etc... which is attractive to kids in the state.

Better to know now than later. Now Fran will get to test his recruiting skills immediately. Larson's situation at the end of the year was kind of disturbiing- sounds like some issues with making good choices.

In terms of bringing in an Iowa guy, Kenyon would be fine, what has he ever coached at the college level or recruited. It would be a good hire PR wise, but I am not sure it makes bb sense. Just wondering!

I know people get blasted on here for passing on info if they recently started posting- but I have heard the same as JM - that the 'A' list consists of 4 current head coaches with the 'B' list consisting of others such as Forbes. Quite frankly, I am happy there are 4 current HC interested if true.
