    Howe: Iowa Football Game-By-Game Predictions

Had to throw something different in there. Everybody has us losing to Penn St and Wisconsin. I think anything less than 9-3 will be disappointing. It would likely be the result of another pathetic year on the offensive side of the ball.

How Many Home Games Are You Attending?

I'm a 3x year guy. Opener, Homecoming with my college buds and best available (this year, coming down with friends for the Goophers, alternate years ISMoo). Usually 1 away game as well...never ISU. Can't stand to be near that place.

    Major ISU Shakeup

What's even harder to grasp is... the kid is an exceptional student. Academic all Big Ten and Dean's list. You'd think he's smart enough to know better and Mom/Dad would be smart enough to tell him, "NO...don't screw up a good thing you've got going." Instead...they enable him. FFS!

Colorado returning to Big 12 in 2024

Washington/Oregon and USC/UCLA seem to make sense. You could double up road trips for non-rev sports. Basketball weekends would be interesting playing USC/UCLA back to back or Oregon/Washington. Arizona/ASU make sense for the same reason.

Strange things are afoot at Minne

I clipped my thoughts a bit...but WTF? When kids are told there are no wrong answers, your feelings are more important than facts, everyone gets a trophy, and it's hip to be a victim... this is the shift in mentality that you get. People called that out years ago...and now it's manifesting.

Strange things are afoot at Minne

I agree in principle with everything above. The caveat is this. When you choose to be part of a team/organization/etc, you agree to sacrifice some of your individuality for the collective mission. That's the piece that so many today reject (frequently under ridiculous premises). The idea of...

Strange things are afoot at Minne

Combine that with a generation+ of everybody gets a trophy and there are no wrong answers conditioning. Words like accountability or responsiblity are being cast as some horrible, oppressive code. Instead of a spirit of service, putting others first, looking to add value rather than extract it...

Paul Finnebaum, not a Clown fan

Seldom have I been so torn. I think Finebaum is a tool...but this is beautiful. Largely because it's true. One only need look to their biggest day ever... 9/11/21. They sh** the bed.
