We need play action - open up the field some. Gotta take some shots downfield!
We aren't going to be able to run on this team without backing them off with some deep threat.
If I had to bet on winning on neutral field, I'd have IA #15 to #20. They could not consistently beat the teams in the top 10. KF would be more competitive than the rest of the country thinks though.
But those who think this team is top 5 are dreaming.
I don't think the coach(es) knew the clock was going to start as soon as ball put in play. Otherwise, they wouldn't have run that play. No chance in hell.
This is not a normal employment situation. It's football. Major college football at that.
I despise ND and have no love for Kelly. That assistant can get BK back later.
Let things solve themselves. You want big government (or whatever) to protect everyone from everything. That's not life...
This - and been saying for a few weeks.
IU is going to come out FLYING in this game. IA needs to control the ball, and keep IU's offense off of the field.
IF they get by IU, I think they go to Lincoln unbeaten, and that will be one tough road game!
Indiana - if they get hot - could destroy Iowa this coming week. Their offense gets confident vs the Iowa D, and it's trouble.
Let's be realistic - Iowa could very well be 4-3 at this point. It's great they're 7-0, and I'm really hoping they plow through the rest of the schedule, but Indiana...
I don't think the game has ever passed him by, but I do think he's a bit old and lacks the energy to be a top-notch recruiter. That has always been our weakness, and has been worse as of recent years.
Need young guys he pays big bucks to (he can give up some of his pay) to go out and get the...
In some ways, yes. But, CJ shouldn't ever be that down. They have to adjust the play calling to the receivers they have - not to mention we didn't see play action, draws, screens, etc. Just seemed so vanilla and predictable.
The media and young left's PC rules are really just noise making so they can feel good about themselves. At the end of the day, it's all talk. None of it helps the people they actually think they are helping.
