Only a few short months ago, the 'geniuses' and 'experts' excellent perceptions were that:

1) Iowa's Offensive line was really going struggle (that is the mild version)

2) The IOWA HAWKEYES were going to be lucky to make a bowl game

3) 'The game has passed Captain Kirk by' (my personal favorite).

4) 'Because of all this ****, me and my cousin Billy Joe Bob aren't going to be No tickets, No way'.


Whar? Whar? Whar have all these grousers gone? It ain't even huntin' season yet, Bubba.

Give it a rest dude, we're somewhat amazed that the Kirker is doing well, I for one, have been enjoying watching our kids kick $$, but I'm not calling out the fan base in, yet, another futal attempt to arouse the masses.....sit back, watch it as it unfolds, and just have fun.....The gold old Cap't will get to a point in his day, where he steps aside, and we will welcome whoever the new replacement, but this year has nothing to do w/KF, it has everything to do w/heart and soul from the kids that step place on the field, and go balls to the wall....

I don't think the game has ever passed him by, but I do think he's a bit old and lacks the energy to be a top-notch recruiter. That has always been our weakness, and has been worse as of recent years.

Need young guys he pays big bucks to (he can give up some of his pay) to go out and get the four and five star kids.
