I just dont see why in this day and age we can't signal a play ready or have another play called instead of spiking the ball after a first down. But yes, having 2 timeouts on the board at the end of the first half while giving away a down was disgusting though. Horrible.

I like the strategy to let NW get the lead this year. Playing with the lead against them hasn't worked so well the past couple years. NW is the worst 4th qtr. team in the Big 10.
