Had Iowa not ****** away game they led for 35 minutes... They could have played an overseeded UMass, a school I had not heard of before last week, and a team they beat by 20 points in the regular season. Yes...I'm still very bitter about the way this season went in the crapper.

Public transportation to downtown is practically non-existent. Definitely plan to drive and park. If u could swing it financially u would enjoy staying downtown much better. Downtown Indy is a good experience with everything u need within walking distance.

Awful game but a great victory. However, Iowa has traditionally played better against old fashioned B10 teams like MSU, Wisconsin, and psu. Purdue, IU, and NW are still ahead. I think it's a win for this team if they go better than 1-2 in those games.

2002 was 10 years ago. College football has changed. Offenses are more dynamic. Iowa runs about 4 plays. Watching games today has made me depressed to be an Iowa fan.

I agree with sentiment rieff didn't appear like a top ten pick. I base this on one thing only and I think it's enough. In 2003 when Iowa needed a yard or two, you knew where the play was going. Gallery would steamroll somebody...first down Iowa. That didn't happen this year with Rieff.

Let's get real here people. Fans coming to watch football game in December don't care about museums, concerts, and cultural fairs. People arrive day early, eat food, get drinks,go to the game, and leave. Indy meets those requirements in a more convenient package than Chicago.

For those of you saying indianapolis is boring...you live in Iowa. Best feature of events in Indy, downtown is so walkable. Park your car and forget it.

All I know is that if they're doing the hat thing they will not be going to Iowa. The guys that do the hats never choose Iowa. We always seem to finish 2nd for the "top" players. I hope for a change in tradition.
