Interesting end to the game. UNC calls timeout thinking there is still time on the clock. Ref runs by Roy calling timeout. Replay shows clock didn't start correctly after UNC inbounds the ball. So, game is over. I have not seen that before.

Anyone watching Gonzaga-OK State when the announcer said the Cowboys were using the Hack-a-Pollock strategy (referring to fouling the Zags player Przemek Karnowski)? He apologized twice after in case he offended anyone.

Wow. Mercer's experience showing through here. Duke lost as a #2 to Lehigh in Greensboro. Now, losing as a #3 in Raleigh. Proximity doesn't always matter. :)

I gained a whole new respect for RDM last night

Although I agree with you, it is not a shot attempted if you are fouled (unless you make the shot).

    Here's the committee's official 1-68 rankings if you're curious

Number 68 comes through with the W!

    64+8 doesn't equal 68

    64+8 doesn't equal 68

Wait, the NCAA isn't that smart. They would find a way to have the extra 32 teams play down to 4 teams, then add those 4 teams to the 64, to then make 68, and then go from there. Think about the extra rounds! :)

    Dayton does matter from fivethirtyeight.com

2 funny things: 1) the article calls them play in games :) 2) did you notice the correction at the bottom? CORRECTION (March 19, 11:00 a.m.): An earlier version of this article said four teams would match up in two play-in games. Eight teams will play four play-in games this week in Dayton.
