You sound like you're arguing with yourself.Geez. Some people have short memories. How can anyone here forget Mike Gesell's last second isolation plays? Lol.

Might as well be. Nobody here has a clue about winning basketball. You sound like you're arguing with yourself.
So you're saying we would be better if we had better players? We'll see. I know from experience that it's much easier to defend a bunch of average guards running an offense, than it is to defend a quality PG.
We'd be better off with a PG. The players we have are good enough to compete for a top half conf finish IF we had a PG.So you're saying we would be better if we had better players?
I'll leave the elementary commentary to you.So you're saying we would be better if we had better players?
If Fran didn't think good PGs were important, he wouldn't be out trying to recruit one every year. He just can't close the deal. Fran has to put the players that he has on the floor. I get that. But that doesn't mean I have to accept that it's a good situation or a good option. Nor does it mean I have to let you sunshine pumpers tell us how great it's going to be.
But he can't land a PG. That's my argument. Your attempts to frame my comments incorrectly, further demonstrates what you need to do to overcome your low basketball IQ.Fran is trying to recruit good players at every position. Stating that obvious fact doesn't help your argument.

Yet in another thread he tells us that Fran getting a Center who has offers from Georgetown and Louisville, and Indiana would be a "mistake". I mean off a Jr. year highlight film Lightning has discovered what these successful D1 coaches are missing, the kid is FLAT FOOTED! I mean these coaches have seen him play numerous times, and have had him in for visits and worked him out, and still they miss this. How can this be, as Lightning discovered it in a 2 min. highlight film!!!!!!

He landed one in next year's class and he landed 2 guys who can play point in the last two years. Those 3 don't count tho because they aren't short, quick, black guys.
You realize CW is African American right? Don't know why you keep playing that card.
You realize he's 6'6" right?
Yep. He can't play point worth a crap because he doesn't meet the criteria of a typical point guard. Short, quick, and (not or) black.Yeah he's got a solid frame for a wing

Maish Daily is skinny but he has nice potential. Good handles. Above average court awareness. He'll be a better shooter once he uses better shot selection. He's a 2 or 3 yr project but I like his upside. I feel much better about him after seeing him in person than I did when I saw his video. He'll be fun to watch progress.
Which probably won't fly against B1G teams. Give me a quick traditional PG that can handle the ball over one that scores in the post
