Rebuilding in year 7

I could see Moss being a 10 or 12 PPG scorer by the time he's a SR. That's not what I would call "a scorer" but it's reasonable. It should be interesting to see what happens to his playing time. Next year Connor will come in and the following year Wieskamp will be here. Then Patrick. He's not likely to play 20+ minutes with those guys on the roster, IMO.

I guess I just don't realize how people can project how someone will develop, especially one with such a small sample size

How did you decide that Jordan was a complete and total bust before he ever played a game at Iowa then?

It's not like he's miraculously going to get bigger or more athletic.

How did you determine his athletic abilities with zero sample size? You can't lecture others about making judgements on players after 9 games when you are making sweeping and comprehensive judgements on players before they play 1 second of D1 ball.

It was very well known he wasn't athletic before he got on campus. He's even said he's not athletic so he's had to work harder than everyone his whole life. Did you forget to take your meds this morning

HAHAHA, always shifting the argument. Nice try, and I get why you are doing it, as you come off stupid as shit.

How do you evaluate a player when he hasn't played 1 second of D1 ball, when you complain about others evaluating Moss after a year and 9 games?

I don't even know what you're talking about. Are you saying that Bohannon is athletic when it's well documented he's not and anyone with eyes can see that?

How did you evaluate that before he played a second of BB? Lots of players have weaknesses, how is Jordan a bust before he plays 1 second of BB?

I have eyes, he was a plan C recruit that had no major conference offers. It's well documented he's not athletic. Common sense

Now offers matter? Jok didn't have any major conference, he could barely jump with all the knee problems, was well below average athletically and had no major offers.....

When did I say offers don't matter? Jok wasn't a big recruit, he was going to go to Drake if we got Matthews

So you trashed him before he played 1 second of BB I'm guessing then. I mean you trashed Jordan for a year now, and Jok was less athletic, had knee issues, was a plan C or D recruit (behind Mathews, Hogue, and several others) and had zero major offers.

I didn't trash him. Jok wasn't needed to come in as a true freshman and I thought he had a lot of upside because he was once considered a top recruit in his class.

Because it has been. Cook, Pemsl, Bohannon, Garza, Nunge, Connor, Partrick, and Weiscamp all seem like players you can put a good team together with.
AGREE 100%.AND TODD HURT BAD.AND SEVERAL OF OUR BIG STARS DID NOT DELIVER IN CRUNCH TIME.IF MIKE OR SAPP WAS HERE ONE MORE YEAR ONLY HAD HANDLE BALL DEFENSE AND ONLY SHOOT WHEN FELT LIKE IT.WE WOULD LOOKING GOOD! OPINION ONLY.BB WILL GET BETTER.AND SOON BETTER RECRUITS.

I see DP is spreading his total lack of basketball knowledge again. Some people never learn. You're wasting your time with him. Can't fix his problems.

Hey don't you have a 12 year old YMCA team you should be coaching Joe Pesci?

Jok 247 composite ranking of .8285 wasn't athletic and didn't have any major offers. Yet we are to believe you thought he had upside? You can't see the upside to Moss who is athletic, but we are to believe you saw it in Jok???? I for one and not buying it for one second......

Moss 247 composite ranking of .8550 is very athletic, with offers from Auburn, and Iowa St.

Heck even Jordan had a higher 247 composite ranking than Jok at .839
