He's one of the best shooting PGs in the country. Even 56 would probably admit that. He also deserved All Fresh PG in the B1G. He has some deficiencies in other parts of his game though that make me think he has a ways to go before being one of the better PGs in the country. He could be but it's not written in stone yet.
I don't. That's why I didn't like Gesell's assists that much. I love impressive assists like all of Bohannon's tho.
Not sure, but I bet after his junior year, no one would have guessed he would end up Mr. Basketball the next year.
It was either going to be him or Pemsl and Pemsl had a lot of injuries so I wasn't surprised.
After his senior year it was going to be him or Pemsl. After his junior year (at least from talk on message boards) he was no big deal at all.
He wasn't really a big deal at any point of his high school career.
Says the guy who still thinks he sucks.

I don't think he sucks. He's a great 3 point shooter and is great at racking up unimpressive assists
And impressive ones too.

oh, i got ya now. i've been critical of kf in the past, so, you know....
oh me too, I've called him every name in the book and dislike a lot of things he does, but I also am not blind to the success he's had and what he's accomplished for the program. I also think Jordan was flat out bad on D last year, but IMO he more than makes up for that short coming with his offensive prowess and I think he will continue to get better at D and eventually be serviceable.

great at assists period...the best in school history likely.
It feels like basketball season is here already with hawk5656 doing his responses. He is great at racking up unimpressive assists. I think you can find the difference between impressive and unimpressive there. With the talent Iowa is going to have this year, there are going to be a lot of impressive and unimpressive assists.

Unimpressive assists are ones where the guy who scored is the one who made a play. For instance the ball is being passed around the perimeter and someone shoots a 3. Impressive assists are ones where the passer made the play. For instance, a great pass into a tight window for a dunk or layup. The first example anyone on the floor could make the pass. The second example is a sign of a good passer. I originally said Gesell rarely made a pass that impressed me and Bohannon has a couple per game.
