PrimeTime League

Maybe it didn't the games they played ISU.

I think you are just finding more ways to discredit Mike and his successes. You are the only person I've ever heard say assists are impressive or unimpressive and now saying Mike couldn't feed the post when he never had a traditional back to the basket type guy like Pemsl or Cook is ludicrous

I remember him turning the ball over trying to feed the ball to Olaseni. At times Gabe was a very effective back to the bucket scorer but it seemed like the team struggled to get the ball in to him.

Post ups on that team were less frequent than this team, but there were plenty of times where someone had great position and was calling for the ball and Mike just stared at him.

You forgot the period at the end of your post cytwins.

I'm just not willing to call a guy a good passer when he looks at an easy pass to a guy posting up and ignores it repeatedly.
That might fall into decision making more so than passing. He makes a ton of good passes and is great at feeding the post when he does. One would think he'd have a lot of passes deflected due to his size and arm length but he doesn't seem to have many.

True. He may just have been an overly conservative passer.

This is getting really tiresome. I'm not an Iowa state fan and I'm not a Twins fan so if this is going to be your only comeback I'd rather you just don't respond

It's just extremely random that the guy you are accused of being also doesn't use periods at the end of posts?

If that's what you want then CW has to step his game up.

absolutely agree with you. It's my hope. But it lands on CW. CW struggled last season in half court offense and running it with timing with the other 4 guys. It was clunky. He also struggled with his shot. If he can improve how he runs the offense, irregardless, of his shot, then i think you can afford to give him some minutes and move JBo to the sg to hunt the 3. CW's defense was really good last year, so if he doesn't lose that, then 10-15 minutes per game at pg seems doable.

Christian made most of his points after steals it seemed. His D was very good with his length and quickness. He might need to pass the ball quicker after getting across half court. He looked good in the Video Rob provided. We will need him to give Jordan a break.....

It seems to me that 56 just might be a Hawkeye basketball fan who has a gift for provocative comments. He certainly has watched a lot of Hawkeye games.....
