The "Drowning in the Koolaid" part of me begs for; 12-1 OOC (the lone loss to either UNI or Wichita St [in Cancun] or @Virginia Tech) + 12-6 B1G + 2-1, [#5 seed] losing in a B1GT semifinal = 26-8 going into Selection Sunday, and a 5, 6, or 7 seed in the Big Dance.

The "Let's Be Real" part of me says; 9-4 OOC (losses to Witchita St, @Virginia Tech, ISU, and UNI) + 9-9 in B1G + 1-1 in B1GT = 19-14, and a mid-seed in the NIT.


To balance the 2 spectrums out, my prediction will be:
11-2 OOC +
10-8 B1G +
1-1 [#6 or 7 seed] B1GT =
22-11 on Selection Sunday (probly good enough for a 9, 10, 11, or 12-seed in the Dance thanks to the overall strength of the B10, but if not [very soft OOC sked], a 1 or 2-seed in the NIT)

With Iowa having more talent on this team then last years I cannot imagine them taking a step back. But I think most of the improvement we will see is in the non conference record.

Bubble NCAA team, but most likely NIT bound. I think the magic number between the B1G conference season and tournament is 10 wins, if Iowa can get to 10 wins then they are NCAA bound.
