I don't have a good feeling about Moss. Fran shouldn't have stopped recruiting him for a year.
Ingram, no. Meyer, yes. I don't get why Clone fans have a hard time admitting that Fred pulls scholarships, it works, just look at SEC football.
So did fran pull Meyers scholarship? I guess it's okay if you're the head coach of an inferior program and simply don't recommend that players transfer as often. It's pretty simple. Better recruits equals more competition for playing time which in turn leads to more transfers. You're fooling yourself if you don't think fran wold do the exact same thing if the recruits ever start to roll in.

Lots of kids are undervalued or simply develop later. That is why you see so many good/great players on non P5 teams. All you have to do is watch any college BB and many mid majors have players that are better than many that are on P5 rosters.
Iowa has been on him since he was a So., so hopefully that pays off, and that get him to sign with Iowa.
Ahhhh, good old foreverdouchy is back. Stay on topic please. Do you think that Fred can beat Fran out for Moss' services? Only one of those two coaches has a player both drafted and on a NBA roster currently.
Yeah that's what I just said you ******* moron, can you not read?
Why would you eat bologna when you can have steak? I don't really care if we beat iowa out for this kid. If he wants to play right away he is probably better suited to go to iowa. Seeing as how this kid isn't a top tier recruit he likely wont come into iowa state and have an immediate impact. Is he willing to sit a year or two and develop? Sdw is a prime example. Kid was a top 125 recruit and is fighting for playing time in his 3rd year. If we don't get him I can't imagine Fred will lose any sleep. Too well rounded of a recruiter. Would I be excited if we got him? Yeah of course I get excited about all of our recruits and their potential
I do agree that getting recruited to a school, and then forced out is certainly bologna. If he wants a steak and a shot at getting drafted and into the NBA, Iowa is certainly the route to go. I'd skip the Fred bologna and go get a steak with Fran as well. Seems like we agree on some things.
Gotcha. So because fran can't recruit he is more of a moral man than Fred because he's only done it once or twice when Fred has done it 3 or 4 times. Got it!!
Holy ****, you are dumber than MJ4Cy. I've never said anything about Fran being more of a moral man, I said Fred pulls scholarships more often and it works so I was glad to see Fran do it this spring. What cracks me up is Clone fans like you getting all worked about it and denying it or trying to build stupid, strawman arguments like you are doing.

Frans motto: come to iowa I can't sign any solid prospects to save my life so I can assure you that you won't have any competition for playing time and most definitely won't be recruited over because as i already mentioned can't sign a solid prospect to save my life. However...if I EVER Get on a roll with this recruiting thing I won't hesitate to push you out the door.
Never ever once denied that. Why not be straight forward with the kid? Don't waste his eligibility if you know things aren't going to work out for him the way he envisioned. Let him move on with his life.
LOL well you're sure getting worked up about it, typical Clown fan.
So Marble isn't a "solid prospect"? Wow, I didn't know that all of a sudden that just because a kid was on some rivals top 125 list in HIGH SCHOOL they are better "prospects" than actual NBA players. One would think that according to you that SDW was/is a better "prospect" than Marble because of this.
Also love how hawk fans tout their first NBA Draft pick in a decade so highly but yet claim they will be a better team this year without him. Without making any significant roster additions to fill the void. Alrighty then.....makes a lot of sense! Forverever loyal and true huh?
There is a difference between a prospect and having the luxury of assessing a player after his four year college career. Marble was a three star prospect out of high school and iowa was his only major offer. Sdw was a top 125 prospect and had more than a dozen impressive offers. Yes...Sdw was the much better PROSPECT. Marble turned out to be the better college player clearly. That however is an exception to the norm. Five star players are more likely to go to the league than four star players. The same is true comparing four stars and three stars. Teams like butler can find a coucoup diamonds in the rough and compete at the highest level for a year or two but eventually their lack of recruiting high level PROSPECT catches up to them.
