Noah Fant Released

According to ESPN’s Field Yates, Fant signed a one-year deal worth a base of $2.75 million and a maximum value of $4.25 million.

For the sake of comparison, Bengals tight end Mike Gesicki has a base of $5.4 million and a $7.66 million cap number in 2025, the first of his three-year extension signed this offseason.

Fant’s deal with the Bengals is a no-brainer for both parties. The team needed a balanced presence who could fill the Erick All Jr. role in the offense and Fant does that with a dash of first-round upside. Fant took visits with a few other teams but wound up in Joe Burrow’s offense as he looks to take the next step in his career.
