I remember before the season hawk fans saying ISU would be their easiest game of the year. Iowa was going to run the ball at will!! That worked out pretty well for you guys. Turns out iowa was iowa states easiest game of the year and that is the gods honest truth. Iowa was and is the worst team on iowa states schedule this year.

So does that explain why all these wins that were supposed to happen You won your super bowl. Problem is ISU can't get up to beat anybody half-way decent. In Ames it's all good if they win the super bowl and you know it.

Nature of the beast in recruiting. Fred spent a lot of time on Vaughn and missed. Hawks spent a lot of time on ulis and missed. Sometime players outperform expectations sometimes they don't live up to them. Point of all this chatter being. If your can't recruit on the highest level or near the highest level you will never ever win at the highest level. Why do you think Kentucky kansas north Carolina are front runners year after year. All I'm saying is you can't be satisfied as a fan base with 3 star after 3 star fran is pulling in.

Kentucky = Calipari = cheater. What has happened to EVERY program he has left, the year after he left? DING DING DING! That's right, found guilty of NCAA violations. But Calipari moves on and nothing is done.

North Carolina = Does anyone go to classes there?

I would call Woody a lot of things but "consistant scorer" is not one of them.

So far, this is true, but this year more of the offense will flow through Woody. In his first two years, he didn't get consistent offensive touches.

We WERE running the ball at will and mixing in a very few passes. And, just like other games, we strangely stopped doing what worked.
