Name that Iowa Freshman Point Guard

Hey dumbass, the reason he was transferring was because he was hurt the season before, and Michigan and everyone knew he would never be what he was. That was common knowledge, but you still were saying we needed him.

It'd be nice to have a PG that didn't crumble under pressure in OT. Spike had made some huge shots in his career. What were his KenPom numbers at Michigan?

So let's be clear. You still would rather have Spike than Bohannon?

A healthy Spike absolutely and then we could have gone all in on a good PG in the 2017 class. Instead PG will be a weakness again next year unless we land a graduate transfer

Assists don't matter and basketball isn't all about offense. I thought you were smarter than that but you are sounding like Tierney or PC here

I agree, defense is very important. That is why I said I have never seen Charlie play. He was known as an offensive player in HS, not for his defense, so I assume he lacks defensive ability that most Fr do.

All I can tell about a player I haven't seen play from stats is their offensive ability. Charlie isn't even close to Jordan right now. Less PPG, less Assist, and WAY more TO as starters. Then the icing on the cake is just how completely terrible Charlie is vs decent teams, and it is really a no brainer right now. He would have to be a top lockdown defender to change my mind looking at the offensive stats between the two.

I guess I can't fix your stupid. His best season he scored double digits 12 times. Michigans record those games? 3-9. A real game changer.

Spike was never going to be healthy this year, do you even follow BB? That is why nobody wanted him

Assists don't matter and Moore is a better shooter and averages more PPG so not sure what you're talking about

You are on the Assist don't matter thing now? So how good was Mike again then?

I said PPG as a starter. Also Moore has padded his stats vs crappy competition. He has a sub 80 offensive rating vs tierA+B teams.....that is putrid boarding on Troy Skinner level play.

There's no way Bohannon is averaging more PPG any way you spin it than Moore. If you think Bohannon is averaging 15 ppg as a starter you need to check your math. He's had 6 or less points in 4 of the last 6 games. You're losing credibility more and more

1. Jordan was awesome in OT vs Michigan.

2. In OT vs. Nebraska he drilled a huge 3 to go up 4 with 1:37 left. Then he drew a charge to foul out Watson with 1:26 left. So Iowa had the ball up 4 with 1:26 left. Jok missed a shot then fouled. Then Pemsl got tackled on the baseline and Iowa fouled again to allow Neb to tie. If Iowa closes out that game everyone is talking about how clutch this kid is, and you coming on here with the narrative that we have a PG who crumbles in OT. Again, you've reached a new level of stupidity.

Edit: I suppose this agrees with Deans narrative that you don't actually watch the games.

He was 1-6 shooting in OT against Nebraska

He was 1-6 shooting in OT against Nebraska

So if any of the following happen:
1. Jok makes jumper
2. Iowa gets defensive stop
3. Ref calls blatant blocking foul

Iowa closes out that game and Jordan was clutch in both of our OT games (3-3 2-2 3pt).

I've had enough of your trolling for one day. Please do not come on the game thread today with the "we" narrative. You are NOT a Hawkeye fan.

If Nebraska didn't miss two free throws to win too

I have never seen Charlier Moore play one minute of BB, so all I can do is look at their stats......

Since Jordan has become a Starter he is averaging 15.6 PPG
Charlie Moore is averaging 15.3 PPG as a starter

Jordan has 4.9 APG as a starter
Charlie has 3.3 APG as a starter

Jordan has 2 TO/G as a starter
Charlie has 3.3 TO/G as a starter

Jordan has an offensive rating of 101.6 on Kenpom
Charlie has an offensive rating of 98.0 on Kenpom

I wanted to take this a step further tho, as Kenpom is great for stats. They actually break down a players offensive rating. They break down opponents into Tier A, Tier B, or no ranking. This is a nice little stat that shows the players offensive rating vs better teams. When Charlie plays better competition the Tier A+Tier B teams (6 games vs Tier A+B teams) he has an offensive rating of 79.5. No that isn't a typo, it is actually that putrid when Charlie plays decent teams. He has totally padded his stats vs weak ass competition.

Jordan on the other hand vs Tier A+Tier B competition (played 8 vs Tier A+B teams) he has an offensive rating of 99.2. Couple that with the fact Jordan has an overall higher offensive rating than Charlie, this really becomes a no brainer.

Now granted, as I said, I have never seen Moore play BB, so maybe if I watched him I would think differently. As it is, Kenpom really tells me all I need to know, Jordan looks like a much better offensive player in every way shape and form really. He is VASTLY superior to Charlie vs good competition and since he has been a starter averages more PPG, APG and less TO/G with a higher offensive rating.

To run your troll, you should really be comparing Jordan to someone who is actually outproducing him right now.

Are you going to update these numbers with one's you didn't just make up?
