Name that Iowa Freshman Point Guard

Are you going to update these numbers with one's you didn't just make up?

Whoops, math error somewhere.

11.1 PPG
4.45 APG
1.8 TO/G

Doesn't change the fact that Charlie has built up his stats vs horrible competition.

Jordan 99.2 offensive rating vs Tier A+B teams
Moore 79.5 offensive rating vs Tier A+B teams

Jordan 120.3 offensive rating in conference play
Moore 78.3 offensive rating in conference play

Even though I don't believe in the PER stats because of the defensive made up rating, I know you do:

Moore 4.9 PER in conference games
Jordan 15.8 PER in conference games

Either way, Jordan even though he played sparingly vs the lessor competition, while Charlie was padding his stats has an overall better offensive rating over the entire season. Jordan has been much, much, much better vs good competition, and it isn't even a competition on who is better in conference play.

You really should have picked a better player to try to prove the point you are trying to prove.

So you'd rather have Bohannon over Moore?

There's no way Bohannon is averaging more PPG any way you spin it than Moore. If you think Bohannon is averaging 15 ppg as a starter you need to check your math. He's had 6 or less points in 4 of the last 6 games. You're losing credibility more and more

You are correct. As a starter he's averaging 11.3 ppg. He's averaging 9.7 ppg in conference play. Both of these stats are up to but not including the Rutgers game. For a freshman point guard who was lightly recruited and adding in the fact that he's averaging 4.6 assists and 2.2 turnovers, to be scoring that much is amazing. He has definitely outplayed his recruiting ratings.

He's shooting the ball a lot that's for sure. Can't really say much about his unimpressive assists

Are you talking about Moore? I mean dude shoots ALOT for a guy with a 98 offensive rating and a 4.9 PER rating in conference play.

You're such a homer

Also why do you think Charlie Moore is good with a conference PER of 4.9? I think the PER is a junk stat, but you seem to believe in it.

Also why do you think Charlie is good offensively when he has a 98 offensive rating, but you think Jordan is bad with a 101 offensive rating?

Oh, I forgot, because you are a homer.....

I don't live in small sample sizes. I'm surprised PC isn't here talking about how bad Bohannon has been playing because of his last game

Um....yes you do.

1) You declared Moss a complete and total miss after 1 exhibition game
2) You started throwing out Bohannon stats and declaring him awful after a handful of Nov. games when he wasn't even starting.

I said Moss was a miss after the Memphis game and he redshirted the entire season. I said Bohannon was a miss when he committed

You posted this on Nov 10th. No worries we all make mistakes, as I did some bad math recently.

I think it's pretty clear he's a miss. When he redshirted last year I had my concerns because usually you don't redshirt kids that are good unless your Wisconsin or they have to put on weight like Baer. I don't expect him to be a rotational player and if he's not this year I wouldn't be surprised if he didn't end his career here

And like you said, you claimed Bohannon was a miss when he committed. So therefor you absolutely do use an extremely small sample size, or even no sample size at all.

So once again, what do you think about Moore's absolutely abysmal 4.9 PER rating in conference play?

Yeah I was really questioning in why he redshirted in the first place. I think I doubled down on it after Memphis. Moore is much better than Bohannon. Bohannon gets a lot of bump for his fake assists and you know that but Bohannon is playing really bad lately

So a 120 conference offensive rating over the last 4 games is "really bad", but Moore's conference games with a 78 offensive rating and a 4.9 PER is "much better".

I think you have taken the word "homer" to a new level with this Clown assessment Spinning these Kenpom numbers.
