Lin-sanity continues

So many jokes that could be made here, so hard to resist, but I don't want to get banned so I will just say...don't waste your time Jeremy!

As the kids like to say nowadays "hit it and quit it".

Took only one game for Carmelo to ruin the Linsanity. Time to trade Melo and build around Lin. He's their future.

Deron Williams dropped 38 on Lin and the Knicks.

Aside from Carmelo's 6 TOs... he did not seem to really disrupt the team's flow all that much.

Lin still scored 21 points with 9 assists and had 3 TOs.

Lin took 9 more shots and only made 3 more baskets than Carmelo and Melo also contributed 6 assists.

It just doesn't seem like this loss can be blamed on Carmelo's return. They had some players really struggle out there. (JR Smith)

Is it possible that the chemistry wasn't all that great with Melo's return? Yes, it is possible. I just don't think this game is any reason to start calling for his head and saying he needs to be traded.

Only time will tell I suppose.

The sad thing is that you're being serious.

Not really, at least about the building around Lin part. I do think the Knicks would be better off trading Melo, he's not a good fit on that team. Carmelo and Chandler could probably get you Howard and Hedo from Orlando.

I was watching Sportsnation last night on ESPN and one of their radio guys is suggesting that with Lin the Knicks are one of the top 3 teams in the Eastern Conference, possibly better than the Bulls. But part of his argument was because of Carmelo Anthony coming back that they had more legit scorers to turn to.

I don't think Melo is a good fit on any team. Too selfish, but he's working on that supposedly. Yea right..

You don't build around Lin. You build around Carmelo, he's one of the the best players in this league.

Oh, Lin's won a bunch. I forgot that.

The Nuggets made it to the the conference finals as a 6th seed with Carmelo. The Knicks aren't making it to any conference finals period, especially if they trade him. Trading a top 5 NBA player to build around an undrafted player who has gotten hot for a few games would totally be Knicks like though and hilarious.

If Carmelo is a top five player, which he isn't, then there's no reason that Nuggets team should have been a six seed. When LeBron left Cleveland their win total declined by almost 40, when Wade was hurt for almost an entire year, Miami won less than 20 games, when Melo was traded from Denver, the Nuggets got better. That shouldn't happen if he's really a top five player.

Which one of these guys is Melo better than: LeBron, Wade, Howard, Durant and Rose?
