Just a reminder..

We have been over it 20 times already, what's the point of doing it again?

Like I said it's cute that you think the debate is still IF you are a troll.

It's funny that first I was some Vin guy and now I'm an ISU fan and Minnesota Twins fan. If only you know how wrong you were

We get it - you're down on the program and continue to troll anyone who says differently. Others see potential. Others see the facts about our youth. Others see Fran's previous years instead of just a snap shot of YEAR 7, unacceptable blanket statements and bashing every player who hasn't been as productive as you think they should be...It's a tired conversation that leads NO WHERE. We can all agree to disagree - you think Iowa is horrible and shouldn't be - IMO, the programs healthy, but going through turnover.

I have been bashing every player? Haha that's not even close to true. I don't think we're horrible but I think if we're not good enough in year 7 to make the NIT that means there was a ton of recruiting misses along the way and that should be acknowledged instead of ignored

it's acknowledged by everyone, it's also acknowledged by everyone that this core is going to be good as experience and maturity continue.

If they develop they will be. Many were disappointed in how the last senior class developed outside of Uthoff. I could see defense being a major issue again next year though

Dean, I'm not backing Hawk 22 in this, but if you are that young to think me old....that explains some of your posts. How old are you? Isn't there an age restriction (young) on this site?

This teams biggest issue is youth period. End of story. If they make or miss the NIT IMO it has no implications on future, it means they aren't ready now.

They are plenty ready to make the NIT now. They just have a lot to overcome to do it because of the slow start. The team since the Omaha game is easily 10 seed material in the NCAA.

I'd agree with you if we didn't just lose by 35 pts to Northwestern.

Would you agree if we only lost by 20? If so it shouldn't matter if a young team (and a coach by not playing Jok) surrendered after the game was out of reach.

And by surrendered I mean quit trying. They clearly gave up. That's not a good trait but the point is, it turned an ugly loss into a monumental loss.

We had Moss in who never plays at the end and Bohannon in late. Cook some also. They had their starters in late too tho.

We had Moss, Cook and Bohannon in at the end plus Kriener who was playing well. I think they took out most of their starters at the final media timeout. That would be really disappointing if we surrendered at the end against their bench players

If Bohannon and the rest of the team gave up in a conference sign that is a big red flag for the rest of their career in my opinion

Not really. Most freshmen probably would. And Kriener didn't play well, he shot well.

Most freshman quit in a conference game? I don't agree with that and quite frankly I thought this group was mentally tough and wouldn't just quit on a game. Disappointing

Oh man I thought you watched the game and already saw they quit. Sorry to break the "bad news" to you.
