UNI fans hated their draw a couple years ago when they saw they had #1 Kansas in the second round. While a difficult challenge, it turned into their greatest victory in school history. So it's also a wonderful opportunity with nothing to lose.

Iowa State is built for a deep run. UConn won't be a problem. But Kentucky will be tough. Maybe I'm the only one who thinks they pose enough problems to make it past Kentucky.

I'm OK with it. We tend to play to our competition. If you beat UConn, you at least get some credit for an opening round win over a traditional team.

Better than getting bounced by a Harvard or something like that if you're not on that night.

Right and UNI barely got past UNLV in the first round. Looking back, obviously getting the opportunity to take down Kansas was extremely fortunate. So, ISU (if they beat UConn) will have a similar chance but probably wouldn't make quite the same waves as UNI since they are from a BCS conference.
