Here's why I am not worried about beating the clones this season...............

Kurt going into Ames is like the USA going into the Middle East.

It. Never. Ends. Well.

You think it will, you know it should, but it just doesn't.

Just going off your normal attitude, this is surprising.

What about my attitude?

My attitude is that our coaching is stale, incompetent, and underachieving.

And that said coaching produces results consistent with those characteristics.

Iowa's coaching is the functional competence equivalent of this:

You have two accounts here? Seems odd.

I haven't been here since Friday, so you'll have to enlighten me.

Ok, I basically said that I am not up in arms about things as most were on that day because I predicted NI would beat Iowa. I said I saw big time improvement with the offense and think that JR is a good qb. I then said that Iowa would win their next three straight. I also argued with many on here that think we will lost in Ames. We won't unless G. Davis calls the dumbest game of his life. I said all this knowing that kf could have won the game if he'd not let up on the gas when ahead.

You made a funny.

If you're gonna zing people who think Kurt is obtaining, shall we say, subpar results vis a vis Le Clownz, you should pick on more than one poster.

Cuz he ain't alone in that assessment.

I don't believe I've responded to you at all in this thread, other than when you mistakenly replied to something I wrote to someone else.

I've got no problem disagreeing with people who can have a worthwhile discussion.

Fair enough.

I agree with most of them, but NIU came in with a very talented QB and a offensive line that has been together for two years. And they won 12 games last year. And now that they have beat Iowa they will probably be undefeated in the regular season.

NIU was favored in 12 of their games last year.
NIU lost 7 defensive starters, including 3 on the DL.

We should have been like MSU playing Boise State last year, and ran the ball 80%+ of the time.

NIU recruiting ranks the last 3 years:
2009 - 91
2010 - 114
2011 - 94
2012 - 100

Sorry, bad loss.

I'm the one arguing the position that you assumed Le Unbound Comanche was arguing. That's why I replied to your post.

Ferrets underperforms vis a vis The Fighting Pa Rhoads. We can discuss that argument if you like.

They should have been favored in those games last year. They play in the MAC and they have a Heisman contender QB.

They should not however beat Iowa at home. Or anywhere else. Bad loss indeed.

You listed 4 years of recruiting rankings. But anyway, it really isn't fair to list that because the academic standards are so high at Iowa that we have a hard time keeping guys on the team. That has to be taken into account as well. Think of all the four stars we have lost.

And like I said, I've got no problem having a discussion with people who hold different points of view as long as they can understand mine. Not agree, but understand.

I'd rather us be playing Iowa State than Missouri State this weekend. I think Missouri State would beat Iowa State.
