Here's why I am not worried about beating the clones this season...............

Iowa vs. Iowa State this year is going to be the pillow fight of the century. Iowa can lose this year's game and it will bug me FAR less than the loss to those guys in 2002 does.. Because Iowa had a real football team that year, and still lost that game.

To Iowa, this will be "just another game on the schedule". Always has been that way under KF, and I suspect that's why Iowa has a losing record against ISU on KF's watch. ISU has wanted it more, because they actually treat it like the rivalry that it is.
Every game is just another game to KF....Lord forbid he would ever emphasize a game and try to jack his players up for one.

It's funny reading the posts over here. Basically, both fan bases hate football right now and are looking forward to basketball season. My thoughts on the game in two weeks are this: ISU will probably lose. The front 7 is sh*t, sans George and Little Knott. The OL sucks real bad and our 3rd year starter at center is gone for probably 4 or 5 weeks. No offensive creativity (sounds familiar, eh?). I'm tired of this football game being a joke. The game 2 years ago was phenomenal. It's amazing how far removed both teams are from that point.

I'll take the $50 bet all day long on this game. Iowa is going to destroy ISU. I don't care where it is. One more game under our belt. The guys want the trophy. Our Defense is so much better than last year. They have a few things to iron out in the secondary, but Parker will get it right and he has two weeks to work on the weaknesses. Next week is a glorified scrimmage, which is what this Iowa team needs to gain more confidence on offense.

If our defense can figure out a way to get pressure on the QB, we are going to be tough on D. You have to remember, the NIU oline is a very good group...and they had their hands full with our D-line most of the day.

Iowa lost to the Clones in 2007 after they had come off losses to Kent St. and UNI. No coach in the country can coach a team down like KF. With that being said, ISU is bad and Iowa should win.

Hey ******* the posts over there sound exactly like what myself and others have been telling you Clone fans for months. You aren't getting any better! You just bought into the ******** Pollard and Rhodes were selling you because you lack the ability to independently analyze a situation. When you finish 8th or 9th in the conference every year and bring in the 9th and 10th based recruiting classes, this is were you end up, getting your *** handed to you by an FCS team. No please never mention your momentum again and realize ISU will always be the worst football school in the B12.

You'll find it to be very liberating" Reading the above should make all hawk fans feel a bit better about the game in Ames this season.FreedComanche
That's what I thought when I went to Jack Trice High School Field in 2007, one week after a solid double digit win by UNI over Clown U. 5 fgs later and The Chiz was celebrating the greatest win of his illustrious career in Lames.

That's a great parody post. Almost had me convinced that you were serious for a minute.

Do everyone a favor and seek professional help.

Iowa fans should know better than to take a bad ISU team lightly regardless of what Iowa's record is when KF is the coach. If rhoads was anything resembling a head coach his game plan should be to chuck it deep early and often, oh and run a fake punt every time.

I base my predictions on what I see on the field, not the response of an opponents fan base. Ya see, they don't actually have any impact on whether the game will be won or lost, so there's that. I'm not worried because it doesn't matter any more whether they win or lose because at the end of the season they won't be bowl eligible.

The clownies are gonna want this one bad. As our little brother, they don't have an identity outside of comparing themselves to us. They thought they were growing out of our shadow, but then their little brother came in and beat them down. Now they know they literally have nothing left to play for, outside of beating Iowa. That is the only possible achievement that can attain after watching their team play once.

So know nothing ISU fans are all the sudden Gospel speakers when one of them says ISU sucks? Yeah most ISU fans have been around long enough to know dog crap when they see it....most KF game plans vs ISU have been just that. We are not winning in Ames unless the ISU first time mistakenly drives to IC thinking the game is there. ISU care nothing about UNI like they care about playing Iowa.

I'd say we're 90/10 to beat ISU. BUT...there's one factor that gives me pause. And we all know who...I mean what... that is.

Iowa will beat ISU this year. If they don't I'll have Jon delete my account. I'm that confident in how bad ISU is.

They really are that bad and I don't know why most on here think that they are not. They are basically a d-1aa talent team this year.
