Coach Woads "It's a load of crap"

My god Slick and the whole clown fan base will be talking about that OSU game forever. We did the same thing to PSU and you don't see it mentioned every moment by an Iowa fan.

Well we did go on a 20-3 run over the next two seasons following that game. ISU has went 6-10 since that game so while we had our own accomplishments to overshadow the Penn St upset, all ISU really has is that one game.

Are you sure about that? Most of your brethren on CyFan are saying without the Iowa win ISU is looking at most a three win season. Seems this game would be very important at a time when ISU had "momentum" and all of the sudden the wheels came flying off. A win over Iowa would be a nice feather in your cap on a four win season would it not?

Wow, you really really hate isu...

On the Internet, nobody knows you're lisping.

There were a few more. Aeischied. FakseMirage.
Some were temporarily banned but were reinstated later.

Others that were in TA miraculously survived the cut... :)

Duff too. I just couldn't resist making a joke since Vin represented several of the posters listed in the post I quoted.

Stubhub says differently Coach.

Stubhub starting prices for ISU home games

Iowa $132
Texas $15
Okie St $25
TCU $9
Kansas $5

All that says to me is that there are some saavy business folks out west. They know they can rope any number of suckers to pay that much to see what's almost sure to be a **** show.

There are no such takers for ISU-Kansas.

Holy crap. Program on the rise. Northwestern-Western Michigan tickets are going for 98 cents. I actually feel bad for ISU, though. Their conference foes who have decent football followings are all pretty far away so they can't get those conference opponents to pay an arm and a leg for tickets because no one wants to go to that dump of a town to watch football. Northwestern started its own ticket scalping regime and is making bank off OSU and Michigan fans this year. $126 for endzone seats against OSU and $91 for endzone seats against Michigan. Purple Pricing

As an ISU fan that hasn't missed a home game in 15 years, here is my list on important wins this year:

#1 Oklahoma -Haven't beat them forever
#2 OSU
#3 TCU
#4 Baylor
#5 Texas
#6 Kansas State
#7 West Virginia
#8 Iowa
#9 Texas Tech
#10 Tulsa
#11 Kansas

Even though I think Texas Tech may be better than Iowa, I'd still rather see ISU beat Iowa. I still don't know how good WV is but I'd like to get the first win over them. This is just my take on level of importance.

If I was a hawkeye fan I would probably only put Western Michigan, Missouri State, and possibly Northern Illinois as games that are less important than ISU.

I think part of it is the upset factor. I don't think fans on either side will be surprised if the other team wins. On the other hand I would be extremely shocked if ISU beat a team like OU and I'm sure Iowa fans would be surprised if they beat Ohio State.

Is this how you actually feel? Possibly. Is this how Johnny Cyclone fan feels? Not even close. My guess is that you are trying to convince yourself that this is how you feel.
