I know it sounds stupid, but this was a must win for the Cubs.....Your best pitcher...At home. You lose this, and it puts you in a real hole, both gamewise and psychologically. But once again, the Cubs find a way to win. Hopefully they can get to a somewhat depleted Kershaw tomorrow and go to LA up two.

If Rizzo, Russell and Zobrist ever start hitting, they might be able to end this early.

Damned if you do and damned if you don't against Kershaw. Meaning if you try to work counts, you are gonna fall behind as he throws so many strikes and just doesn't walk people. You gotta swing the bat vs Kershaw.
